A hard week of work calls for some time off with family and friends. But, visiting those same eat-out joints over and over can be a real bore. Fast food culture is the in thing with chaat bandi’s now found on every corner of the streets, but the best chaat places in the city are few.

Mayur Pan House at Abids road is famous for its vada pav and pav bhaji. A pocket friendly place, this joint enjoys patronage from people of all ages. Thick, dry and seasonal fruit juices like anjeer badam, kaju badam, seethaphal, mango, watermelon and strawberry are also fast moving items on the list. Their meeta pan is also a must try.

For those who have never tasted the famous paneer jalebi and the mouth-watering basundi,  Balaji Rathanlal at Kachiguda railway station is the place to go.

Shiv Singh Bandi at Begumbazar is famous for cutlet and samosa ragda. One plate costs Rs. 20 and over 200 plates are sold on a daily basis. This same galli also offers you mouth watering paneer dosa and butter dosa at reasonable rates.

At Himayat Nagar is the famous Gujrathi chaat wala who sells chaat on a cycle. He has been selling chudumud chaat for over 11 years behind the TTD temple. Masala puri, pani puri and chudumud chaat are the favourites and cost Rs. 20 each.
