With the 12th edition of the Auto Expo drawing to a close on a rather positive note, the auto industry hopes that the showcase of style, engineering and design creates a positive buzz in sales in 2014. The weeklong show saw the debut of 70 new cars including 26 global models. The Expo comes at a time when the auto industry seems to have taken a hit. The annual auto sales of 2013 saw a dip of 9.59% after a period of almost 11 years. Trending this year is the hatchback, with companies like Tata, Nissan, Maruti, BMW and Mercedes unveiling their new cars this Expo.
